A demo version of the Simpsons: Hit and Run mod will be available soon, which completely transforms the old PC game into a version of Futurama. The team behind the Futurama: Hit and Run mod says that players should be able to play the racing game mod later this month or early September, and “it won’t be that long” before they’re ready to release it.
The Simpsons: Hit and Run is a 2003 sandbox game created as The Simpsons version of the popular Grand Theft Auto series. The Futurama mod replaces all vehicles and characters with models created from scratch, allowing you to play as Fry, Bender, Dr. Zoidberg, Amy Wong, and more.

As you can see, an impressive amount of work has already been done on this, but the team also plans to add their own voice acting and music.
The modders say that a demo should be available in the next few weeks. What can be more complicated is tracking down a working copy of The Simpsons: Hit and Run for PC. While another modder managed to restore the first level of The Simpsons: Hit and Run to Unreal Engine 5 not too long ago, the PC game itself isn’t currently available for purchase.
However, you can contact the Donut team, which maintains the Simpsons Hit and Run mod launcher and various other mods for the game.
