for THQ Nordic’s Digital Showcase 2022 announced The Storm Rising, a new real-time strategy game. The release period is 2023 and it will come to PC. you can see Official Trailer Shared during the above event.
There official statement writes: “Inspired by the great RTSs of the 1990s and 2000s, Tempest Rising is a classic base-building real-time strategy game set in an alternate war scenario from modern history. Three unique factions battle over a rare alien mineral called Tempest. Engage Challenge your friends in epic campaigns or multiplayer matches.Tempest Rising for PC is developed by Denmark-based Slipgate Ironworks.
Slipgate Ironworks formerly known as Slipgate Studios and the name change was due to the need to avoid confusion with a company of the same name. Previously, the team was known as Interceptor Entertainment, which was founded in 2010. The team’s first projects were fan-made remakes of Duke Nukem, which were blocked by Gearbox Software.

Slipgate Ironworks was acquired by the Embracer Group through Saber Interactive in August 2021. They are best known as the co-developers of Ghostrunner. They recently released Graven.
