Dotemu publisher announced deferred L’exit from Metal Slug Tactics until 2023. So, as we announced earlier, we will not be able to play again this year. The message with the bad news is very short and very general motivational, but still precise about what it is: the development team wants to launch the best game possible and obviously needs more time to develop it.
Note that the new release date hasn’t been announced, so we don’t know if we’ll see it at the beginning or end of the year.
Metal Slug Tactics is another video game snooze of the past few months. From this perspective, 2022 has suffered more from the problems of the pandemic than in previous years. On the other hand, 2023 promises to be absolutely jam-packed with releases, including blockbusters, double-A, and prestigious independent titles.
We’ve recently delayed ARC Raiders, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, and what’s likely to Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp.
Among the most sensational delays of the year are Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl (in this case due to the war in Ukraine) and Starfield.
