Assassin’s Creed Infinity: video shows off a fan-made Japanese setting in Unreal Engine 5

YouTube account TeaserPlay released a new one video dedicated Assassin’s Creed Infinity: This is a fan-made trailer that tries to imagine the upcoming Ubisoft game by suggesting an original setting. Japan.

The video shows a series of non-interactive 3D environments that only serve as the concept for a possible release of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, of course not an actual game. We have no idea what the setting of Infinity is at the moment: In fact, according to some rumors, more than one may have been added over time. However, Japan is one of the settings recommended by Jeff Grubb.

The technical quality of the fan-made footage is good, especially considering it wasn’t made as a commercial product. The setting shows us exactly Japan. It was Kamakura (1192 – 1333 CE). Aguilar, a character from the 2016 Assassin’s Creed movie, was used for the main character. Everything was built with Unreal Engine 5 and uses technologies like Lumen (for lighting) and Nanite (for geometry).

Assassin’s Creed Infinity It could be at the center of Ubisoft’s next rollout, which is expected on September 10, 2022.
