We have the opportunity to explore this, thanks to Take-Two’s tax report. Marvel’s Midnight Suns release date delayed. PS5, Xbox Series X | The S and PC versions are now expected to launch by the end of March 2023, while the PS4, Xbox One and Switch versions don’t even have a date, not even a reference year.
Remember Marvel’s Midnight Suns It was scheduled for October 7, 2022: postponing the release date therefore comes about three months before the release date. Probably (unless there are more delays) now that we’re talking about the first months of 2023, next-gen versions shouldn’t be too late.
Seems to be related to “problem” older generation versions: The PS4, Xbox One, and Switch versions lacking any release date may indicate that the developers are having a hard time optimizing the game for such underrated hardware. Obviously this is just speculation.
We also remember this this reference is not the first: Marvel’s Midnight Suns was originally scheduled for spring 2022. Officially, the game has been delayed to give the team time to create the best video game possible and ensure fans have the best experience.
