Frames from the alpha version appeared on the Internet Diablo 4, which is now being tested by a narrow circle of players. A few days ago, well-informed journalist Jason Schreier reported that “friends and family” got a chance to test the anticipated role-playing game, and first impressions were positive. Over the weekend, someone in that circle took revenge on Blizzard by violating a non-disclosure agreement.
A short video shows the opening of the menu, character customization (such as gender, skin color, and small details like tattoos) and difficulty selection. Related to this is the ability to choose whether you want a more or less detailed interpretation. That is, how far the teaching should lead you by the hand. There is an option to disable everything.
There are difficulties Adventurer – World Tier 1 as well as Veteran – World Tier 2. The first difficulty is suitable for those who have never played Diablo or want less difficulty, while the veteran is suitable for experienced adventurers with more dangerous enemies. They will be rewarded with more loot, gold and experience points. The developers have prepared Hardcore mode with permanent character deathwhich is not in alpha.
Blizzard has previously reported that they emphasize player choice, including the ability to create a hero/heroine of your choice. Associated with this is a non-linear open world. The developers have prepared almost 150 dungeons. In the world you will come across fortresses, enemy territories that you have to conquer. Thanks to this, you should have a significant impact on the world, which will change depending on your actions.
Diablo 4 is scheduled to release in 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. You can still sign up for the beta.
