Talked to IGN USA developers Gotham Knights related heroes your game. The team explained that our characters will be strong and talented from the start, but that doesn’t mean the game will be unimportant.
The creators of Gotham Knights say: “It was very important to us that these heroes, our Knights, already exist. great at the beginning of the game. Not that they are ineffective as crime fighters, but far from that. They all actually graduated from Batman’s crime-fighting school.”
“In the beginning I very similar, combat and stealth, in the sense that they have many essential tools to navigate the world and use the hook. Then they completely diverge to give you a personal idea of what Gotham City’s Dark Knight should be like during the game.”
“We didn’t want to make a dungeon crawler RPG where we send you into the jungle to kill six slugs and return with your crew,” explains director Geoff Ellenor. “These are very interesting people after all. Trained by Batman and others. They are very smart. They are very talented. But they still need to prove their commitment and know what it takes to protect Gotham City now that Batman is gone. There is an RPG progression, but they certainly don’t start from scratch. The characters are already pretty strong when you pick up the remote.”
IGN USA explains that this doesn’t mean the game won’t exist sue: The thing is, the player will have the impression that our heroes are really heroes, not rookies who have yet to learn. “We don’t want a bad guy on the street holding a baseball bat to give you a hard time,” Ellenor continues. “However, there are some mini-bosses in the game that are pretty strong and you need to be a little careful in the beginning.”
