  2. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard – 11 million
  3. Monster Hunter Rise – 10.30 million
  4. Resident Evil 2 – 9.80 million
  5. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – 9.50 million
  6. Resident Evil 5 – 8.30 million

The conclusion to Monster Hunter Rise is particularly striking if you consider that its release date only dates back to 2021, whereas Monster Hunter World is still a long way off, from 2018 and Resident Evil 7 from 2017. Therefore, in a little over a year, Monter Hunter Rise has already finished in third place and is very close to second place, so it can rise again.

It’s worth noting, however, that the game’s maxi-expansion and new edition Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is listed separately in the rankings and currently ranks 36th with 2.5 million copies sold, and World: Iceborne. It ranked fifth with 9.5 million separately.
