Challenge the brutal Horny Roller in the new Naraka Bladepoint Holoroth map

Naraka Bladepoint’s upcoming new map, Holoroth, has been well explained and looks to be a blend of classic Naraka aesthetics with new approaches to map design for the Battle Royale game. Yes, players can expect a similar atmosphere to the original Naraka map, Isle of Morus, with plenty of open spaces for melee and skirmishes between temples and teams on the map, but 24 Entertainment has definitely added a few things to make Holoroth stand out. a crowd. his predecessor.

First of all, Holoroth will have weather conditions which will affect gameplay. There are two different weather conditions for the two different biomes: a severe blizzard in the snowy area of the map and a sandstorm in the desert area. These can slow and stun players, making it much harder to dash into the final storm or into an enemy team.

Holoroth also appears to expand upwards, making more use of Naraka’s movement mechanics such as hooks and unlimited free climbing. The map footprint is similar in size to Morus Isle, but increased verticality in Holoroth.

During a preview event, 24 Entertainment states that if you jump from the highest point on the map, it will take you exactly ten seconds to hit the ground.

Holoroth also feels like an interactive map with different traps and mechanics, giving you new ways to damage opponents or get some nice loot.

The scariest of these is the hilariously named Horny Roller – a spiked roller that circles a building in the desert area of the map, crushing and dealing massive damage to anyone in its path. Expect some interesting uses of the Horny Roller when a melee breaks out near this death trap.

There is also a new mechanic in Plumed Castle POI that can reward you with a chest full of gold loot. We’re not going to completely give up on how to do this, as it looks like one of the many secrets and mechanics of the game that 24 Entertainment players will want to uncover bit by bit.

Naraka Bladepoint’s first new map since release will be added to the game in the coming weeks, but initially one of the main points of interest will be protected from players as 24 Entertainment is still working on this area. The map will be expanded with this POI shortly after launch.

During the preview event, it was also confirmed that Naraka Bladepoint esports will only continue to work with Morus Island for now, but will consider adding Holoroth to the pro game in the future.
