Ubisoft is announcing new details after the big fanfare presentation that took place a few weeks ago. skull and bonesThe open world with pirate wars is coming to PC and consoles in November. In a recent interview with True Achievements, game director Ryan Barnard said: the weight of the narrative in the game and so on”will not be the focus experience”.
Barndard explains that Sull and Bones have one background story and some key characters will have personal stories to explore throughout the adventure, but in any case the plot isn’t the most important aspect of the game, it’s more about gameplay and player progression.
“Skull and Bones is not a fiction-based game,” Barndard said. “We have storytelling, in the game you will meet important NPCs with their own stories called ‘Kingpins’, you will get to know them as you deepen your relationship with them by completing the quests they offer you. There is a background story. We have built the lore of this world but it is not the focus. We want them to be able to choose the pirate they want to be.”
“However, what will push you into the progression system we call ‘Infamy’ is where you’ll get blueprints to craft different types of ships, weapons, and armor, and you’ll need them to explore the world and be effective against new enemies.”
Skull and Bones will be availableNovember 8 PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | On S, Stadia, Epic Games and Ubisoft Connect.
