Valve boasted good news for everyone who is waiting steam deck. If you have a laptop reserved and are in line, you will receive an email this year asking you to complete your order. That means you should have a laptop at home by the end of this year. In addition, it will go to those who previously had the fourth quarter.
“We are pleased to report that the supply chain issues affecting the Steam Deck are slowly fading away so we can continue to ramp up production. And that, in turn, means we can meet demand faster than we expected.” says Valve.

“Everyone currently in line will receive an email later this year to complete their order. Number of clients so far falling under ‘4. quarter of 2022 or later” was also moved to the “3. quarter of 2022 (July-September)”, and all the rest conveniently fit into “4”. quarter of 2022 (October-December)”.
Currently, new bookings will also be based on the 4th quarter, however if filled they will roll over to the next quarter. To find out roughly when your turn will be, visit this page (and don’t forget to log in).
