Less than 48 hours have passed since the release of the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update, providing a balance of weapons much needed to end the two mind-boggling weapon metas the battle royale game has faced. Of the dozens of changes from Raven Software, a Loyal Companion buff was essential for many players back in Warzone’s Modern Warfare era, and as a result, the pick-up pace is already starting to pick up.
Of course, we’re talking about the Kilo 141 Assault Rifle, an assault rifle that almost anyone who played during the OG Verdansk era would have had the best Warzone gear. The Kilo was known to be a reliable and versatile weapon that could be built for long-range blasting as well as mid-range firepower and agility.
With Season 4 Reloaded giving AR a decent damage boost, players have started digging into their arsenal and blasting dust off their old books for use in the battlegrounds of Rebirth Island, Fortune’s Keep, and Caldera.
According to WZRanked stats, Kilo (was around 2.5% usage before the Season 4 Reloaded update) currently has around 7.5% usage and then climbed even higher high and has spread so far – Rejection NZ-41 is not only the best AR but also as the best Warzone gun in the game right now.
The reason for this huge increase is not only because it is more powerful now, but also because it was a weapon that most people completely upgraded due to the fact that many players then had the Kilo Warzone gear.
As mentioned, the Kilo isn’t the only weapon that has seen a big change in usage in the short time since the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update released. After dominating the Warzone meta for what seemed like an eternity, the NZ-41 has finally gotten a major nerf and is seeing less use. It’s the same story with the Marco 5 SMG, the popular short-range pistol with one key difference.
Hopefully Kilo doesn’t become another overpowered outlier like the NZ-41 and other weapons become available for the rest of Season 4. Otherwise, expect to be sent back to the Verdansk era. Inevitably, this will result in reduced distance from an overweight enemy.
