One of the best games of 2017 has received a free update for next-gen consoles. What’s left of Edith Finch PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S now support 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.

Adventure thriller from the first person tells about the fragility and transience of human life. It offers a touching story about Edith Finch and her family. Each of its members died under different circumstances. Edith is the only living member and as you explore the estate you can experience the life of family members on the day they die. Each story is set in a different era and offers unique gameplay elements, from puzzle-solving to horror.
What Remains of Edith Finch won Best Game at BAFTA Game Awards 2018 and Best Story at GDC 2018, SXSW 2018 and The Game Awards 2017.
A similar patch will be released on September 15 this year. Outer Wilds. 60fps native support is featured here, so PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S owners can enjoy the story of an explorer who flies away from his home planet to explore the solar system.
When a supernova explodes on the Sun, the player is back on their planet, essentially trapped in a time loop. What causes the loop and how to get out of it is a major mystery, although many other amazing discoveries remain to be made.
The update will be free for PS4 and Xbox One Outer Wilds owners.
