Since last autumn, we have confirmation that the expected event will take place STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl from the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World will offer official Czech localization as subtitles on PC and Xbox Series X|S. And now a famous translator Philip Zhenishek confirmed that work on the translation began after agreement with the developers.

“After an agreement with the developers, we are finally starting the Czech localization. I have also worked on previous works and I look forward to returning to the Zone as a small child.” declared Philip Zhenishek on Twitter. Here it is worth recalling that the last game in the series also offered Czech subtitles, i.e. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyatreleased at the turn of 2009 and 2010. The two previous volumes, in particular, the original STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl since 2007 and STALKER: Clear Sky since 2008 they even offered not only Czech subtitles, but also Czech dubbing.
It’s hard to wait for the translation of the game, because I usually mess things up while I’m working.
The exception is STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl.

On this occasion, the developers talked a little and designated the Chernobyl zone as the most dangerous and mysterious place on Earth, where many stories take place. We hope that the official story of the game will become more understandable for many players thanks to the upcoming Czech subtitles.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl coming out during 2023 in PC and Xbox Series X|S versions. The game will be available on Game Pass from the day of release.
