On the official PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed some of the important features that the upcoming PlayStation VR2 VR headset will boast.

The first feature introduced is the so-called See-Through View, thanks to which you can use the built-in cameras to see the real environment without removing the headset itself.
Customizable play space
Before the game, you can also set the size and boundaries of your playing space, which will be especially appreciated by players who do not have much space in their room. If you get close to the set limit during the game, the headset will alert you.
VR mode
Mode suitable for gaming. It turned out that gamers will be able to enjoy content in 4000×2040 resolution (2000×2040 per eye) with HDR support and a frame rate of 90 or 120 frames per second. All this in a 360° virtual environment.
Video mode
You can use this mode if you want to watch movies or series with the headset turned on. The imaginary virtual cinema will offer content with resolutions up to 1920×1080 at 24/60 Hz and support for up to 120 frames per second with HDR.
Recording while playing and connecting to the camera
The PlayStation VR2 can be connected to the separately sold Sony PS5 HD camera, allowing you to record yourself in broadcast mode.
In conclusion, the developers say that they will soon share more information with us, including the release date and the presentation of other games that will appear on PS VR 2. Hopefully, we will find out the price of the device in the foreseeable future.
