WoW meets FFXIV in this fan casing manifesto

As the debate over the lack of FFXIV-style player hosting in World of Warcraft continues, one fan has struck the perfect balance between those who want to use the feature and those who don’t.

Ever since the meteoric rise of Final Fantasy XIV Online, players have drawn comparisons between Square Enix’s game and Blizzard’s classic MMO World of Warcraft.

While die-hard fans may argue until the cows come home over which MMORPG is better, one feature that sets FFXIV apart from its rival is player housing, the addition that has made Eorzea a dynamic social network.

Love the idea or hate it, we won’t see it in WoW’s next expansion, Dragonflight, as Blizzard says it will be a multi-expansion process.

As WoW fans continue to debate the need for this system, one fan has found the perfect compromise for those who want player hosting and those who don’t.

“My idea is that at the end of each expansion, you can build your guild house or garrison, improve it, make it more fun and interesting, and after returning home after each new adventure, build your house”, writes a player in the website. wow official forum “So we’ll have a lot of great stuff that will stay with us at the end of each expansion.

Concluding that this “optional” system will also “bring people back to the old expansions”, this idea makes a lot of sense, especially if it’s different from the controversial garrison system in Warlords of Draenor.

“I wish this was my in-game rewards museum, a place to relax,” one replies.

Another player writes: “My knee-jerk reaction was not just no, but no. However, on second thought, I have to say, why not? My headmistress (night elf) no longer has the place where she grew up. The only place she owns now is his garrison. I don’t think houses are for everyone. We used to fight WG and then go back to A Hero’s Welcome and celebrate victory or defeat. We make it our home. Then yes. To pursue.”

Blizzard has expressed interest in introducing player skins in future expansions, but confirmed that players will have to wait a while. You can not wait? Be sure to check out the WoW Dragonflight Alpha Preview to beat the boredom.
