Minecraft and magic have collided several times lately. The most notable of these magical mashups is Spellcraft, a free DLC that adds over 20,000 different spells and several new ways to use them. However, the fan-made EpicSpellsPlugin is definitely worth a look.
We wrote about this plugin back in May and it was pretty impressive at the time, but development seems to have continued at an impressive pace ever since. As Morica_ explains on Reddit in the post, they added the ability to cast spells without using commands. Now all you have to do is change the name of the wand to “Magic Wand”, then sneak around and draw symbols in the air.
The video shows various spells and the ability to attach them at your discretion to various moves. It all sounds very esoteric, which is absolutely magical. Morica_ talks about several other potential features of the plugin in various comments throughout the post, but there is one that really stands out.
When Morik_ was asked about creating her own spells, she replied, “Yes! Although it probably won’t happen in the next few months, I really want something like this. I also code spells to work mainly on pre-made things.” Basically, since the spells use stuff that’s already in the game, they’re a bit easier to set up. This could be the perfect way to beat Hogwarts Legacy without buying the game.
