Terraria 1.4.4 Wolf Collar looks like Zelda: Twilight Princess

Terraria fans who like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are in luck, as the new Terraria 1.4.4 accessory, coming with the Labor of Love update, allows players to transform into a Link-style wolf in a GameCube game. . Wolf form gives players more mobility while allowing them to use their normal gear.

The new item was featured in a special video by YouTuber ChippyGaming, who took the opportunity to feature it as a sign of gratitude for their continued support of indie games. To demonstrate this, Chippy must create a special character called “Teen Wolf”, but the developer of Re-Logic Whitney “Cennxx” Spinks confirms it that this item will also be available through normal means in Update 1.4.4.

Once in the game, she notices that a new item, the Necklace of Lilith, is equipped in her character’s mount slot, which she says “gives the wearer the power of a wolf.” Pressing the ride button with an item equipped will cause Chippy’s character to fully transform into a wolf.

It’s a good thing that the finch’s nest, where players start the game in their creative journey mode, which is usually located on top of your character, is comfortably nestled along the wolf’s back. Chippy jokes that he hopes the pair will appear in the next Terraria graphic novel.

In wolf mode, the character runs at a fairly high speed, comparable to some faster mounts. He also has a pretty impressive jump and manages to clear the tops of nearby trees. Chippy also tests various items, most of which work fine. Some look a bit strange, like a short sword sticking awkwardly out of a wolf’s chest.

However, the animation of the ax and pickaxe is excellent: the wolf moves its head to the rhythm of the swing, which makes it look like it has the tool in its mouth. The fire whip is also very good, which is incredibly reminiscent of Capcom’s Wolf RPG Okami. Chippy also tries out some of the accessories, noting that boots don’t affect your speed in wolf mode. He also discovers that the wings don’t work, but you can use the balloon pack to have more mobility and slow down if you want.

You can see the full version of Lilith’s necklace on the ChippyGaming YouTube channel. Lanforce Re-Logic QA tester too posted a gif on twitter demonstration of some coloring effects and other animations for the new shape. Of course, the most direct reference that comes to mind is “Twilight Princess,” but Sennks says that she and her partner Andrew “Redigit” Spinks simply included it as gift for your daughterwho loves wolves.

In other Labor of Love news, the new 1.4.4 potion helps prevent the spread of evil biomes. A particularly powerful late-game accessory, the Ankh Shield, is also getting an upgrade, though fans are divided on whether or not they think the bonus is worth it.
