Lately, we’ve been seeing more and more experienced developers leaving major game studios and creating their own. One of these is the new Wildflower Interactive team, officially introduced to the world on Wednesday.
The studio is headed by Bruce Straley, a true veteran. During his career, he changed several studios, but spent most of his time at Naughty Dog, where he worked for 18 years. At first he worked as a regular artist, but worked his way up to the position of game director, notably for The Last of Us and Uncharted 2, 3 and 4. However, he then left the studio and no longer worked in the game. industry for several years. But, as he says in a new video, when he started working on the prototype of a new project, he realized how much he missed game development. He has created a new team around him, which is now working on small but creative projects.

In addition to Straley, the studio already has other veterans who have worked on games such as Call of Duty, The Pathless, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Abzu, Astroneer and others. It is supposed to be a small team, which currently has 11 employees, but additional vacancies are open on the official website.
