In the last year more and more graves of indigenous children have been discovered, along with reports of marginalized indigenous students in Canadian residential schools. According to Digital Extremes, Indspire is “a Canadian organization working to increase the percentage of indigenous youth entering and graduating from higher education institutions.” You can find more information about Indspire, its programs and events on its website.
Speaking of the many recent in-depth boarding school programs in Canada, where Canada’s indigenous communities are among the most marginalized, Warframe Creative Director Rebecca Ford said: “What’s happened is a disaster. [Canadian history] Being a Canadian native has never been easy. We wanted to support the indigenous community [for this year’s TennoCon]”.
Ford continues: “Indspire is amazing and we have really built a partnership. It was very important to us.”
