While the co-op campaign has finally been flight-tested, we still don’t know anything about a Halo Infinite Forge release date, which should be shortly after co-op. Questions remain about how the maps will be delivered, but now it looks like Halo Infinite Forge will have a simple file sharing system.
While Halo 5 Forge remains the only way to play the game on PC, eight months after its release, Halo Infinite is still missing the long-promised Forge map and fashion designer. Like co-op, though, it’s on the way, and now we have an idea of what it’ll look like in FPS play.
as indicated @bathrobeSpartan On Twitter, the new Forge will feature a community file sharing system in the Halo Infinite in-game community menu, with shared featured skins, popular maps or user-created modes, or even buildable items. If players (or 343 itself) create cool new items or buildings, they can share them here and other players can use them on their maps.
Once Forge is available in #Aura Infinite, a new file explorer will also be part of the party!

It’s all pretty neat and easy to explore, so it’s great to see these crafting options coming to Halo Infinite soon. Unfortunately, however, when that will be is still up in the air.
In other news, Halo Infinite is getting a prequel in August, and fans are a little upset that it’s a novel and not DLC.
