The Arc A750 is expected to deliver better performance than the RTX 3060.
After a long time, Intel talked about the upcoming Arc graphics cards, the release of which was delayed several times. This time we have received new information about the Arc A 750 GPU, one of the older models.
The company has released a chart comparing the model to Nvidia’s RTX 3060. However, this is just a selection of five selected games where Intel claims the card excels. So it doesn’t have to be a representative sample. Either way, you can see the results below.
Arc A750 is faster in all five games: F1 2021, Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Borderlands 3 and Fortnite. Of course, performance isn’t magical, but it will depend on how Intel rates the card. And also when the new generation of graphics from Nvidia and AMD comes out, it will be another level.
Microsoft is rethinking plans, apparently returning to the three-year Windows cycle
Not so long ago, Microsoft promoted an operating system that should receive updates over a long period of time. Windows 10, released in 2015, was supposed to be the last. But, as we certainly know, things turned out very differently in the end, and Windows 11 was released last fall. And now Windows Central magazine reports that everything can return to normal.
Microsoft is reportedly planning to return to a three-year cycle, which means releasing a new system every three years. Thus, a potential Windows 12 could enter the market as early as the fall of 2024. The Redmond giant is said to be changing its approach to updates. While we’ve always received two big updates a year so far, now they’re saying they want to focus more on smaller, more frequent new feature additions.
