Bloodborne Meets Bloodborne PC Thymesia Delayed, But Still On Track

If you’re completely done with Elden Ring and looking for a new Dark Souls-like experience, but still desperately hoping for a PC version of Bloodborne, Team 17 has you covered, and while Thymesia’s release date is pushed back, a plague plagued by The Bloodborne ride is still scheduled for August.

There have been plenty of rumors over the years that From Software’s classic PS4 exclusive Bloodborne is coming to PC, but right now it doesn’t seem like it’s happening despite exclusives like Spider-Man and “The Last of Us Part 1” while on El Camino.

So there’s a void in the PC market for a good game to fill Bloodborne’s lost throne. Nacon’s Steelrising launches in September, but first comes Team 17’s Thymesia, a Souls-esque action set in a grey, twisted, plague-ridden Victorian world that players can use in battle.

What is the release date of Thymesia?

Thymesia will be released on August 18 after a brief one-week delay.

The main differences between Thymesia and Bloodborne appear to be the use of plagues that spread during combat to negatively impact opponents, and the lack of a stamina meter. The lack of stamina in From Software games, including Elden Ring, means that Thymesia is a bit more focused on combat and combos. Interested players who are done with the Elden Ring and are looking for a new Souls-like challenge can grab it in August.

The next software game after Elden Ring looks to be a new Armored Core game, so don’t even expect Bloodborne 2 just yet, let alone a port. However, Bloodborne, the kart racing game, is coming to PC, and we’re not kidding.
