Just a week and a half after launch, Rockstar Games has detailed the GTA V performance mods available on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, including the impressive implementation of the performance-focused ray tracing mode.
The “expanded and improved” version of the open-world RPG detailed on Rockstar Games’ blog will feature three different modes. Fidelity mode will set the game to “highest visual quality and aims at 30 frames per second”. 4K resolution in this mode is native and ray tracing is enabled. However, 4K resolution has been upgraded on Xbox Series S.
Performance mode configures the game for 60fps gaming at enhanced 4K resolution (1080p for Xbox Series S). However, the main mod here is Performance Ray Tracing, which offers a mix of both modes with a 4K upgrade, ray tracing enabled, and 60 FPS gameplay. All three of these mods provide good options for players, but we believe the performance ray tracing mod will debut on March 15th.
These three modes will be available in the standalone version of GTA Online on March 15, which will be available simultaneously on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. GTA Online will see a new tutorial and a new front-end menu that will allow you to jump straight into different modes of the game.
Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online are coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 15.

This expanded and improved version of the game is coming soon and comes with ray tracing, improved explosions, more detailed fire and 3D sound and DualSense support. I hope this is an interesting update for players.
