Minecraft and Star Wars know each other well. A few months ago we got to see some awesome Star Wars Minecraft builds thanks to a special contest, and as a result we even got to see the official DLC and the joys of a little Voxel Grog. Well, that’s another crossover, but this fan-made one uses mostly clouds.
Redditor Number1Nathan, who would have earned his name in a big battle royale with everyone else named Nathan, posted a video on the site showing how to texture clouds in Bedrock Edition. This whimsical cloud features the intro text from Star Wars. Episode IV” and it’s great. Although the text is not perfect, the idea it demonstrates has great potential.

The only other problem, really, is that clouds are limited in width. It’s quite possible that playing the Distant Horizons mod will also fix this, meaning you’ll be able to see everything on the big screen.
This is just the beginning of cloud textures in Bedrock, but we think it’s likely to catch on and lead to some really awesome Minecraft builds and moments. After all, if people can add functional GIFs to the game, we don’t see any reason why Clouds can’t be the star of his own show at some point.
