Meta has just released the Oculus Quest 2 v42 update, adding several new features and tools to the company’s best VR headset. In addition to expanding the device’s parental controls, the firmware also gives all fitness enthusiasts the ability to display their progress on Oculus Move.

Once you apply the Oculus Quest 2 v42 update, you will have access to Move Achievements. Goal has a dedicated tab that lets you track various milestones on the Oculus Move, like how many calories you’ve burned and how many daily goals you’ve reached.

This is in addition to Move Trends, which visualizes your fitness data and allows you to track your progress on a weekly basis. The Oculus Move will also track your peak and average intensity during your workouts, giving you a better idea of how sweaty your workouts are.

Meanwhile, parental controls have been expanded to disable social features. This includes things like creating and joining groups, sending or receiving chat messages, and sharing content on Facebook. Meta says that it plans to refine these options in future updates.
