Minecraft mods come in all shapes and sizes and can be used to turn a sandbox game into just about anything. There are packs designed to give the Elden Ring feel, a mod to add Mario Karts to your world, and even more natural packs like this mod that lets you race ghosts. There are also mods that try to push the game more towards the sandbox genre, if possible.
Create is a mod that was originally created in 2019, but has gone from strength to strength since then, with nearly 24 million downloads. It’s only version 0.5 anyway, but this update is just amazing. In addition to everything that is already in the mod, this update contains many items that allow you to build functional railways.
It’s really hard to imagine how this is different from a standard wagon train, so it’s best to watch the trailer on Reddit. As you can see, thanks to all the mods, Minecraft looks much more industrial and feels like a blocky version of Satisfactory, not a game about exploding vines.
The five-minute trailer shows off a lot of new features, but it also gives you a good idea of what to expect if you’ve never tried the mod before. It’s all very impressive, although the way the machines milk the cows makes us wonder if someone should confiscate the animals from whoever made the trailer.
