One of the best co-op fantasy games is finally coming to PC, and sooner than you think, as publisher Interplay confirms a July release date for Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2, and it’s also ready for the Steam Deck. .
A remaster of the cooperative DnD game Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 1 finally arrived on PC after 20 years in December 2021, making up for the less-than-well-received remake of Dark Alliance earlier this year. Interplay previously confirmed that the 2004 remaster of Dark Alliance 2 will be released in summer 2022, and now we finally know when, and it’s coming soon.

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 will be released on July 20 via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store on PC and consoles.
All versions support up to 4K resolution and local co-op play, while the Steam version also supports remote play. Interplay confirms to Steam Deck owners that Dark Alliance 2 has been fully tested on the Steam Deck, so you can take it anywhere without issue.
The next game in the series is Larian’s Baldur’s Gate 3, which has just added playable bards and dwarves to its early access version and is due out in 2023, according to the developer.
