As stated at the beginning, Capcom also announced that Monster Hunter Rise has reached a total of 10 million copies among those sold digitally and distributed in retail version. As of May, the game reached 9 million copies.

Monster Hunter World instead, it reached 21 million copies distributed and is still Capcom’s most successful game to date. The latter compared to Rise clearly benefits from the fact that it has been in stores much longer and is available for a larger number of platforms. In total, the Monster Hunter series hit the milestone with 84 million copies distributed worldwide.
