GTA Online’s new weekly update is aimed at fans of Rockstar’s crime game Grand Theft Auto V and focuses on the glamorous Diamond Casino and Resort. The update offers a variety of increased casino rewards, as well as discounts on penthouse renovations and a variety of other items added as part of multiplayer casino updates. This update is also scheduled for a little longer than usual.
From July 7-18, GTA Online players will receive triple cash and in-game reputation points for completing missions in Free Casino mode. Players can start by serving as the VIP/CEO of an organization or as the MC president. Plus, there are double cash and reputation payouts for overtime shootouts, open wheel races, and Gerald’s last game missions assigned by the Los Santos dealer.
If you’re looking for a new set of wheels, you can win GTA Online’s prize car, the Zion Classic 2-Door Coupe, for finishing in the top 5 in car racing for three consecutive days. If you’d rather rely on luck than judgement, you can head back to the casino and spin the wheel to test drive GTA Online’s newest track car, the Sugoi, a sleek hot hatch.
It’s also the perfect time to spruce up your casino penthouse, as there’s a 40% discount on renovations. The same discount applies to slot machines, perfect for expanding your gaming portfolio. A number of clothing items added in casino updates, including tailored work vests and jackets, are also on sale for half price.
