WoW Hunters Can Die In PvP Thanks To Razor Shard Glitch

The continued development of World of Warcraft has become an excellent science. While bugs definitely creep into MMORPGs, Blizzard usually fixes them quickly and has a fairly limited impact. However, this bug, which allows hunters in PvP to get one-hit kills thanks to a razor shard bug, is a bit different: it has fatal consequences and is related to Toads.

WoW Youtuber Rextroy has already tried to fix this particular error but was unsuccessful. But now they have figured it out. The premise is simple: Venthyr alliance hunters can acquire an ability called Flay Shot, which has a chance to trigger another ability, Kill Shot. The Runecarving power, Razor Shard Pouch, amplifies these lethal shots, causing targets within 12 yards to take 60% of the damage dealt as DoT.

This is where it gets fun. Releasing a Small Toad with an item slightly compressed by the Toad and then killing it near an enemy in PvP causes the hapless bystander to bleed, dealing hundreds of thousands of damage. With players around 30k HP, and even NPC faction leaders around 500k, it burns them down quickly.

This bug works because the Toad, being a level 1 creature, takes a lot of damage from any attack made by a high level player. Therefore, the excess damage is well beyond the damage that bystanders should take. Rextrroy demonstrated this technique in his video, showing them single-handedly killing Ro’chan, the leader of the Horde in Orgrimmar, using this method.

Unfortunately, this cheat doesn’t work in PvE, but you may not need it after the final nerf to Sepulcher of the First.
