There is no shortage of events in Genshin Impact and another one begins today that offers multiple rewards while waiting for the Genshin Impact 2.8 update. The preliminary phase of HoYo’s test for the anime game is now underway to prepare fans for the real deal.
The new quiz, detailed on the HoYoLab site, is a “Guess This Picture” game, and players will be tasked with creating quizzes for each other, which may include pictures of monsters, artifacts, characters, or other content from Genshin Impact. Collect shaded/silhouette images and use the hashtag #HoYo Quiz in a post on the HoYoLab website to enter.
Today’s event preview is a “warm-up” ahead of HoYo Quiz’s official start date on July 9, when players can begin competing for a share of the 300,000 Primogem prize pool. The main event takes place on the HoYoLab app and is a 10-question quiz that will test players’ knowledge of the game by giving them 15 seconds to answer each question offered. The results of the main HoYo quiz will be announced on July 31.
In the meantime, we have a “Guess That Picture” warm-up. These warm-up rewards are limited to a HoYo test avatar frame for your HoYoLab profile, as well as a chance to win a Vago Mundo themed and plush coaster for some of Genshin Impact’s most popular characters.
Prizes can be awarded to quiz creators and respondents, so don’t worry if taking quizzes isn’t exactly your thing. All backers who post by the deadline will receive an avatar frame, and 20 of them will be raffled off to win a Vago Mundo plushie.
As for the quiz participants, the 10 participants who provide the correct answers in the comment sections below the quiz will be selected to receive character-themed roller coaster games. Each account can only win one merchandise prize during the event, so don’t expect to get lucky.
