Leaks suggest you can boost Master Chief in Halo Infinite’s Forge

For many gamers, Forge mode and custom games from the Halo gaming franchise represent some of the best creative multiplayer experiences out there. We’re not the only ones to say that at least a lot of good memories were made playing unofficial mods like “Monster Trucks” and “Duck Hunt”. This nostalgia has played a part in many people finding Halo Infinite a disappointment.

The conflict is smooth and pleasing to the eye, but something is missing – and naturally people think it could be Forge. Fortunately, 343 Industries has confirmed that the Forge mod is coming to Halo Infinite, and new leaks suggest it’s introducing a new item scaling feature, among other innovations.

Shared by ‘ on TwitterMr_RebsAs reportedly featured from original YouTuber “Unseen Halo” footage, this new set of Halo Infinite Forge mod leaks gives fans a look at the latest iteration of this iconic game mode – and there’s a lot to look forward to.

The footage in question shows a host of beach-themed items on Behemoth, one of Halo Infinite’s most daring maps, and Spartan armor reminiscent of the game’s protagonist, Master Chief. To illustrate the end of this potential new item scaling feature, the visuals show the player effectively increasing the Master Chief’s armor until it is larger than the map itself.

We know that sounds hard to believe, so you can check out this image snippet for yourself below:

The leaked item scaling feature in question will not only allow players to scale items in Halo Infinite’s Forge mode. As far as we know, players can also manipulate the scale of the object along three separate axes, X, Y and Z. to fully meet your needs.

There’s not a whole lot of official information right now about what players can expect from Halo Infinite’s next Forge mode – hell, there’s not even a concrete release date yet, and the game itself. – even more than six months old. . . . But if the leaks are true and Halo is getting an Infinite Forge mode item scaling… we can see why it took a while to find the truth. This feature looks very nice, but it also seems like a feature that can break the game quite easily.

If we’re to believe the leaks, free item scaling isn’t the only new feature that could be coming to Halo Infinite’s Forge mode when it finally releases. There’s also talk of 343 Industries working on weapon combos that will allow players to transform existing firearms with new skills and ammo. Of course, this is all worth taking with a grain of salt, but if everything we’ve seen is true and works well, the future looks bright.

The Halo Infinite co-op campaign won’t have your friends on your hips, and Forge mode looks bigger and better than ever – is Halo Infinite finally back? We can only wait. For now, if you’re looking for something to kill time, check out the best Xbox Game Pass games here.
