Yager released their PvPvE project in June Cycle: Borderwhich, as part of the matches, will move you to a colorful island where you will fight other players, try to survive and along the way try to find various important resources and raw materials.
However, with this release and the fact that a large number of players got into the game, of course there were various problems that refer to the balancing of individual mechanics.
And that’s exactly what I’m focusing on last dev diary (above), in which creative director Dan Banefelt and combat designer Michelle Nora they explain upcoming changes.
Thus, the authors are trying to find the ideal position where better gear gives a noticeable feeling of more power, but at the same time players with lower gear are still competitive. Later, the developers say that they are more or less coming to the point where they plan to adjust the power of weapons and armor.
Namely, it will happen strengthening local SMGswhen vice versa low level shotguns will be weakened. In addition, they will try to solve the problem of overuse of grenades.
Today we released a new Dev Update video on weapon balancing and power increase, you can watch it here: https://t.co/245MlyD5Cw
