IGN.com published two game video from Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Showcasing the prey of two monsters that will debut for the first time in the massive expansion coming tomorrow for Nintendo Switch and PC.Espinas and the optimistic Bishaten.
The video you found above shows a multiplayer hunt for Espinas. He is a rather dangerous flying Wyvern from Monster Hunter Frontier, as his attacks can both cause fire damage and poison the player, as well as paralyze. We also see new moves for Hunting Horn and Insect Falcione at work.
In the second video, we instead see a hunt for the optimistic Bishaten, a subspecies that can rain fiery pinecones on hunters. In addition, the “Co-op Missions with Followers” function is also shown, in which the player will be accompanied by AI-led NPCs.
