Ubisoft will close the servers of many old games after the holidays

If you’re planning on playing an old Ubisoft game in multiplayer after the summer break, you might be in for a nasty surprise. This was reported by the French company. 01/09/2022 disables many game servers.

We see some old parts in the list Assassin’s Creedbut in general it is PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 era gameswhich almost no one plays anymore. Therefore, it makes no sense to run servers. Old games will give way to new ones.

  • Far Cry 3 (2012 Version – PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
  • Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (PS3, Xbox 360)
  • Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (PC)
  • Rayman Legends (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U)
  • Silent Hunter 5 (PC)
  • Space Junkies (PC – HTC Vive, Oculus)
  • Splinter Cell: Blacklist (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
  • Zombies (Wii U)

Let’s just say the updated versions of the aforementioned games like Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 are unaffected. Multiplayer and all online features will not work in all games. The single player game will remain intact.
