Gran Turismo 7 community accuses PlayStation of protest statement
Simracers complain about the current state of the Polyphony game and its “inconsistencies and shortcomings”.
Since its launch last March, Gran Turismo 7 has continued to receive content from: PolyphonyDigital in the form of regular updates with vehicles and circuits, but the majority of players who chose this installment are not completely satisfied.
The game’s simracing community published on social networks A statement protesting the current state of Gran Turismo 7. It has been signed by special competition organisations, virtual teams (amateurs, semi-professionals and professionals), broadcasters and thousands of virtual drivers, and you can read it in full below:
Among the various reasons listed in the document, the game currently lacks features such as Ranked mode or the ability to save online room settings, as well as lots of connection issues situations that frustrate the experience, such as crashes between sessions, error screens and user kicks, or race disruptions and slowdowns.
We want official response from PlayStation or Polyphonyprotest statement“All these events and shortcomings make Gran Turismo 7 as of today. unplayable, helpless and very frustrating“, they say, after listing many other requests. “We are issuing and signing this international protest statement seeking official response from PlayStation, Polyphony Digital and/or their top executives.”
It goes without saying that this is the first time the Gran Turismo community is enraged by this seventh episode, while we await any official response from those involved. The game was unplayable for a day due to issues shortly after its release on PS4 and PS5, and recently complaints about price increases on some car models have returned.
