The Minecraft Marketplace has plenty of stuff to spend real money on, as well as some great free stuff. It has DLC license, unique skins and all that. It has also been around for five years and to mark the occasion there is a huge sale from June 28 to July 12.
According to the official website, more than 200 discounted outfits and 14 character creation items are available for free. That’s not all, because you can check out the Tycoon Creator Map, and Gamemode One has a new adventure called Spellcraft.
In Spellcraft, you try to use the items to become a spell caster to restore an old machine. You will then have to cross magical rifts and fight your way through minions in order to upgrade your spells and fight more powerful enemies. According to the official announcement, over 20,000 unique spells can be cast here, more than enough to entertain even the most dedicated wizards and witches.
Gamemode One may not be the group you’ve heard of, but they are the official creator partner of Minecraft and are responsible for the How to Train Your Dragon, Sonic, and Pac-Man crossovers. It’s fair to say that they have a certain pedigree, so if you’re the kind of person who likes a little magic, Spellcraft is definitely worth keeping an eye out for when it launches on July 5. Plus, Spellcraft will be free to play, so there’s no excuse not to create and cast spells.
