Niantic, best known for its mobile AR games Pokémon GO and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, has unveiled another similar project, this time from the world of basketball.
His name World NBA and, in fact, it will bring all the known elements from their previous games to the world of basketball.
This means that you will again be asked to leave your cozy home and go outside to visit the local and distant places where you will be. Collect various NBA star players.which can then be upgraded and modified with a variety of equipment from well-known brands that you will find during your travels.
Then you can deal with these players refuse duels 1 on 1, in which you will carefully test your swipe skills. Of course, there will be various additional mini-games.

The project is led by Markus Matthews, who joined Niantica in 2021 and has extensive experience with sports brands such as NBA 2K and Madden NFL.
The game will be available for devices with systems Android and iOS. It will again be built on a free-to-play model.
You can already sign up for the beta testing, which should be available relatively soon.
