Lost Ark developer Smilegate announced a collaboration with beloved fantasy game The Witcher 3 during the LOA ON event, and also revealed details of the new Lost Ark Aeromancer class, set to launch in Korea on July 6. Both are currently only for Korean free ARPG servers, but they should switch to the western version in time, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Aeromancer is described as a “synergistic damage” class and uses his umbrella to unleash weather-based attacks. The gameplay demo features a whirlwind-style move reminiscent of Diablo barbarity, positional AoEs that cause incessant rain or thunder in an area, a floating dash attack that appears to leave frost on the ground, a conical wind attack. which repeatedly hits enemies, some useful movement tricks, and heavy hail followed by enemies being knocked into the air.
As for The Witcher 3 collaboration, it was announced as part of the Lost Ark x The Witcher 3 single graphics event schedule; Unfortunately, we haven’t received any more details than that, although there is speculation that the event is supposed to hit the Korean servers in the winter, so if it shows up here, we probably won’t see it until at least 2023.

During the full LOA ON event, many more updates were announced and a short translated recap was provided on the game’s official subreddit. Some of the other highlights discussed are cross-server friends, news about upcoming story content, a world map overhaul to allow zooming. , expanded support for new players, and an update to the in-game selfie mode. Again, these updates relate to the Korean server, but all are expected to make their way to the international version of Lost Ark in the future.
