If you said that Overwatch 2 you will ignore and stay with the first part, we have bad news for you. It turned out that when the sequel scheduled for October comes out, immediately replaces original overwatch. This will make this seven year old RPG unplayable.
However, Blizzard originally had a different idea. Overwatch 2 was meant to be a complete game at full price. both titles had to coexist. At the end of 2019, official Overwatch social media announced that Overwatch 1 players would be able to play with Overwatch 2 players on the same maps.
Overwatch 1 players and Overwatch 2 players will play together on the same maps.

Not only Overwatch will leave, but also six-versus-six team matches, which will be replaced with new five-versus-five matches. The developers claim that they are more dynamic and better. At the very least, all your progress will carry over to Overwatch 2.
Overwatch 2 will be in pre-release launched October 4 this year for PC, PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. Will be free on all platforms.
