The playable characters are not particularly memorable, and technical issues prevent the game from being a great game. Fans of the best RTS games can get a solid addition to their collection of games, and movie lovers can get pleasant memories of their favorite series.

The movie master’s atmosphere and style transformation was perfect, but aside from a few technical issues, we found the initial difficulty to be too easy and the game to offer next to nothing after the campaign, which is basically a one-time experience. If you love 1997’s Starship Troopers, or the entire series, you’ll love the ability to command your own Starship Troopers in Starship Troopers: Terran Command. While not the best strategy, it’s still an RTS that’s worth it, especially if you just want to take out endless waves of bugs. It’s an interesting addition to the Starship Troopers series, which clearly has an audience all these years after the first movie, let alone the 63-year-old book.
