The main idea of Immortal Empires from the very beginning is that in Total War: Warhammer 3 it combines the cards of all three parts into one interesting looking unit. But how the game world will subsequently work was not yet very clear. Last week, Creative Assembly delivered a detailed preview by launching a blog full of information. Thanks to him, we now know that a total of 86 lords will compete for dominance over the united world, so there will be plenty to choose from. The main villain of the Total War: Warhammer 3 campaign, the demon Be’Lakor, finally got his own faction, so he will no longer be forced to serve the winners of the campaign.
However, he will not be the only one who will receive his own housing. In addition to him, 29 more legendary lords will receive their position, including the founders of completely new factions, the dwarf Grombrindal, the necromancer Helman Gorst and the head of the church, Volkmar the Grim. Faction mechanics should be improved on the latest and some of the old leaders mentioned. Sea travel will also be changed, where he will jump with the current and speed up his journey to his destination.
If, like us, you happen to miss the campaign more than once, Immortal Empires should solve this problem to a certain extent. He will offer new conditions for victory, so he will end up being knocked down by more players. In addition, up to 8 players will be able to play it, and only one needs to own all the games to activate this gigantic campaign. Total War: Warhammer 3 – Immortal Empires is due out in August in an unfinished version (BETA). All in all, this will be a long-term project that will hopefully help create one of the most ambitious fantasy strategy game modes ever.
