A week ago, Microsoft presented us with a new trailer and short footage from a new episode of the Forza Motorsport series at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. Developers from the Turn 10 studio were attracted to the show mainly the presence of dynamic weather, a change of day and night and an improved damage model.
Creative Director Chris Esaki revealed more details about the game in the latest issue of Forza Monthly. In particular, he mentioned that players can count on new career mode and redesigned multiplayer mode with real racing weekend structure (training, qualifying and race with a pit stop). Esaki also confirmed that the aforementioned real day/night cycle will be available on all available channels.
The game’s creative director also devoted a relatively large amount of space to ray tracing. He must be are also present directly in the races themselves. In this regard, it was a clear reference to the rival Gran Turismo, which only works with ray tracing in replays and photo mode.
In addition to this new information, the developers have published the following ten pictures from the game. New Forza Motorsport Coming next spring in PC and Xbox Series X/S versions. It will be available with an Xbox/PC Game Pass subscription on the day of release.
