Battle Royale Naraka Bladepoint will come to consoles for the first time this month when it moves to Xbox Series X | S and Game Pass. While the game’s original map, Isle of Morus, received a few updates (the most notable was last December), there was only this large map for players to enjoy. Despite Naraka’s unique gameplay and excellent content, the lack of a new map seems to be one of the few holes in its armor compared to other multi-map battle royale games like Apex Legends or PUBG: Battlegrounds. . However, during a preview event for the Xbox version of the game, publisher Netease revealed to The Loadout that a second map is currently in development.
“We are working on something new,” said a NetEase spokesperson. “A question that our players often ask is ‘when will a new card arrive?’ It is in production.
No schedule has been specified for the release of this new Naraka Bladepoint map.
NetEase also says it’s still “finalizing” how it will fit Naraka in terms of rotating the new map or completely replacing Morus Island.
Brand new Naraka players will be tempted by the game’s arrival on console, and while Game Pass might not need a new map just yet, it’s likely to be good news for players. PC gamers looking to explore the diverse landscape of Morus Island and embark on a new challenge. .
