It’s another Thursday, which means it’s time for another free PC game from the Epic Games Store. This indie game has become a cult following on Steam this week thanks to a mix of ideas from Zelda, Metroid, and Portal; In other words, it’s Supra Games’ Supraland.
Supraland’s free-to-play mode takes place in a kid-friendly sandbox, but there’s plenty to do and find here. You will have to find new skills to overcome insurmountable obstacles, solve puzzles, and sometimes even fight. The art style is family-friendly, but Supra Games says the game is aimed at “advanced players” and will take between 12 and 25 hours to complete.
Here is the trailer:
The developer says that you won’t get a lot of hints as you play, and instead you’re supposed to figure things out on your own. The formula has worked pretty well so far, with Supraland getting over 600,000 players on Steam a year ago and now the developer is working on a sequel.
Supraland replaces Maneater as a free-to-play game this week on Epic, with another new game launching on June 23 at 8am PT / 11am EST / 4pm BST.
