The text descriptions of several new items added to The Sims 4 contain hidden references to the latest FFXIV expansions, Shadowbringers and Walker.
The first is “Racked Teak-a Greatshelves”, a name that itself might be recognized by fans of MMO games as a fun game set in the Shadowbringers location, Rak’tika Greatwood. The item’s description references “Letter Warriors” (a play on FFXIV’s “Warriors of Light”) and contains the line “we bring shadow, we bring light, some even two-tone”, a quote adapted from the letter” Who Brings the Shade”. , the theme song for the main antagonist of Shadowbringers.
