Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7

During the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy 7, Square Enix announced the second part of Final Fantasy 7 and Crisis Core: Master Fantasy 7. A remake of Final Fantasy 7 is also released on Steam.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will become an official trilogy. It will be released on PlayStation 5 in winter 2023. Final Fantasy 7: Rebirththat players will be able to enjoy whether they know the original game or not. Creative director Tetsuya Nomura even claims that players can start with Rebirth and then jump straight into the first part of the remake when they’re done.

In the announcement trailer, we see Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth, while Aerith’s voice is heard off-screen.

“Cloud and his friends are embarking on a new journey in this game, and I believe that the scenes they will see after they leave Midgar will give players a new, fresh experience.” Nomura added that the second part of the remake will make more extensive use of the unique hardware capabilities of the PlayStation 5 console.

The third part, which completes the trilogy, will be released sometime after 2023. Development has already begun.

By the way, the first part is coming out today – Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade – on Steam and will be compatible with Steam Deck. Until now, this game has been available exclusively through the Epic Games Store. Sold for 56.79 €.

The third surprise of the stream Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, a modern remaster of the original PSP game. The new version uses the same engine as Final Fantasy 7 Remake and will arrive later this year on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The press release brings improved HD graphics and updates to all 3D models so you can enjoy an epic, battle-filled story on modern platforms. It is dedicated to Zack Fair, a young member of SOLDIER. He was given the difficult task of finding a missing member of the group.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion lets you relive a story that takes place seven years after the end of the original Final Fantasy 7.
