Simultaneously with the presentation dedicated to the anniversary of FF7, another event took place, also related to the celebrations. RPG Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is celebrating its 10th anniversary and Capcom decided to hold a special presentation featuring director Hideaki Ikuno, who, in addition to this game, is also behind several parts of the Devil May Cry series.
The conversation was obviously interesting, but the most interesting was at the very end, when the sequel was finally announced, which has a simple title. Dogma Dragon 2. No wonder that occurs on RE Engine, which was originally created for Resident Evil 7 but was gradually used by Capcom in other episodes of the RE series, Devil May Cry 5 and Monster Hunter Rise. This is probably a technology that can be used for almost any game.
Unfortunately, there are no details about Dragon’s Dogma II yet. We don’t know the release year or target platform. But fans will definitely like the announcement itself. The wait was really long.
Dragon’s Dogma II will restart the cycle.
Join director Hideaki Itsuno as he reflects on how the world of Gransys came to be and shares the announcement of the upcoming sequel being developed using the RE Engine:
