Someone found a way to use the Steam Deck as a Gameboy camera screen, and it’s completely useless. While most gamers will probably use laptops to play the best PC games, there are some retro enthusiasts who go out of their way to use old tech with Valve’s gaming laptops.

Well, the bridge can flash retro accessory software, which means you can technically take pictures with a portable power station.
It should be noted that emil10001’s effort is actually a response to melinte, who first used this process to connect a Steam Deck to a VHS recorder. That’s right, you can actually watch old videotapes on Valve’s nifty platform, but you’ll need to strap your player to your backpack and carry a generator to watch them on the go.
Using the Steam Deck as a display for legacy devices might sound silly, but the fact that you can do it is a testament to the versatility of a portable device. It also reinforces that the Deck is essentially a gaming PC, so if you can do something on your desktop, you can probably do it on Valve’s compact as well.
